Ooh lovely, another great post. The crowds under the Arc de Triomphe, and the last picture of the silhouetted men are especially brilliant.

I have a great live news recording of the crowds celebrating in Piccadilly Circus on VJ Day - I work on Regent St so walk through there every day. Recently my iPod was on shuffle and popped on to this the very moment I set foot outside Piccadilly Circus tube station - pretty cool to hear the sound of the people celebrating over 60 years ago on that same spot!

Wow... that would really be something!! I love the things that can bring you right to a historical moment like that. I'll have to try it! :)

Those two are my favourites too-- I'd love to have the V-light one on my wall!
